Our Story

From the front yard of our first Fire Chief to today – our mission of service has always empowered the best of us to be second to none.

Non-Emergency Support

Our mission doesn’t end when the rigs return home. We partner with businesses, schools, and area non-profits to share knowledge, prevent emergencies, and serve the greater good.

EMS Standby

The DCVFD provides stand-by Emergency Medical Services for large public events (typically over 500 attendees).

PuBlic Education

Fire Safety begins with prevention. As part of a long history of community engagement, we work with schools and non-profit organizations to spread awareness and help everyone understand how to live safely.
